Amanda Fechter started her insurance career at Heffernan working in the small business division as a Commercial Broker with a focus in the home care sector. A little over a year ago she transitioned from her sales role to the service side where she is now an Account Manager. In this role she is charged with service, marketing and client retention with most of her clients in the non-profit and home health care industry.

Amanda graduated from California State University, Chico with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and emphasis on small business. She lives with her fiancé and enjoys fixing up their house, spending time with friends and family and being outdoors.

Tami Unsworth started her career in insurance in 1997 with the Heffernan Group and has held several different positions within the company including being an integral part of the Healthcare division. Starting as an Assistant Account Manager and promoted to Account Manager, Tami's responsibilities grew to include marketing renewals, negotiating terms and pricing, premium/coverage comparisons and financing, policy changes, invoicing, claim reporting and all aspects of account service. Several years ago, Tami decided to focus her attention in commercial sales.

Since joining Special Accounts she has been a sales leader and mentor for this growing division. Her primary niche is Home Health Care and small commercial businesses. Through Heffernan, Tami participates in memberships in CAHSAH (CA Assn. of Health Services at Home), NPDA (National Private Duty Assn.) and NAHC (National Assn. of Home Care & Hospice). In her spare time, Tami works as an Events & Hospitality Specialist for Roche Winery in Sonoma, and serves as Secretary to Diablo Referral Partners, a networking group for professionals.

Leticia Treviño has been in the insurance industry for over 16 years after starting her career as a claims adjuster at Fremont Compensation. She acquired her technical knowledge through work experience as an adjuster, claims consultant, claims manager moving up to vice president of a third-party claims operation. As a California certified Self-Insured Claims Administrator and Qualifying Manager, she has been able to work on both the carrier side as well as the third-party administrator side of claims handling with an emphasis on Workers' Compensation and Liability coverage's.

In 2000 when she joined Heffernan Insurance Brokers, she was able to carry over her attained skills in establishing her current role as Commercial Lines Manager and Vice President. In this role she has been heavily involved in the development of the training infrastructure as well as client retention for the Small Business Division.

As an active member and enthusiast of the Latino Issues Forum, California Hispanic Professionals Association and the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, she is has spearheaded efforts in creating Heffernan's Latino division which focuses on providing premier bilingual insurance services to Spanish speaking clients along with creating insurance awareness and opportunity within the Latino community.

In addition to establishing her career she is also a dedicated mother to two beautiful daughters ages 12 and 9. Although work and family time require a substantial amount of balance, she enjoys every minute of it. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shopping, traveling and overall enjoying life.
