Select employers from the area were named winners of the awards program, held October 23, 2014 at the Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland. Before the awards ceremony, a panel discussion titled "A journey of wellness; how to move the needle of culture and health" touched on what wellness really means in today's workforce, creating a culture of health for your employees and improving your bottom line. About 400 business leaders attended the event, making it the largest such wellness program the Portland Business Journal has yet hosted.
