National Federation of Press Women Insurance
As a member of the National Federation of Press Women, your work already carries real exposure — from the stories you write to the opinions you publish under your own byline. This program was built specifically for NFPW members, giving individual writers and journalists access to the kind of media liability protection that’s usually reserved for larger publishers and broadcasters.

Important Terms
This is a claims-made policy, and the insurance company selects defense counsel on your behalf. Coverage applies to claims made against you individually, not against any associated publication or third party. Because defense costs are included within the limit, any amount spent on defense or settlement reduces the remaining available coverage for the rest of the policy period.
