Heffernan Insurance Brokers Promotes Brenda Grootendorst to Portland Branch Manager

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Heffernan Insurance Brokers, one of the largest full-service, independent insurance brokerage firms in the United States, is pleased to announce the promotion of Brenda Grootendorst to the position of Branch Manager of the firm's Portland, OR office effective September 1, 2017.

Grootendorst brings over 30 years of insurance and risk management expertise in Employee Benefits, Property Casualty Insurance and Risk Management.  She provides her clients focused, creative, skillful and intelligent solutions to their insurance and risk management needs. Engaged and proactive, she prides herself in becoming a valued member of the client's human resources, risk management and finance teams.

She has completed advanced insurance studies earning the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
